Happy Valentine's Day! {Richmond children's photographer, Midlothian photographer}

H guys! I know this is a bit late in the day, but I wanted to do a quick bloggy-blog for LOVE day!

I also wanted to share the cute valentine's my littles gave out to their buddies today. Cal's got rave reviews....who can resist a kid with a mustache?!

 So, I have had a bunch of questions about this one. I can't claim to be that creative....I saw a version of this card on tiny prints (I think) that had a cartoon drawing of a guy with a mustache. Then I found a free mustache png file online (just googled it) and added it over a layer of Cal's picture (after editing.) Just a little resizing and tweeking and voila!! A 4 year old with a "mustachio" as he calls it! LOL

Ryann's is sweet, just like her...;-) She filled out the 'to' and 'from' lines, then folded them and stuck a treat on with some stickers.

I had a hard time finding 'cool' valentine ideas for my 3rd grader but this one seemed just right! He's pretty easy, so I just handed them to him and told him to fill them out....he didn't seem impressed or appalled, so I think I did my job, right? ;)

The BEST woman's laptop bag EVER!! {Virginia Photographer, DC photographer}

This summer was a crazy one! We moved into a new house, had an earthquake and a hurricane, and I shot my first product photography job! All in the same week!! When the ladies from Lilac Georgetown contacted me to shoot their new line of laptop bags I was honored, and nervous. I explained that I had never actually done a job like this one, but they were still willing to give me a shot. So, they dropped the bags off at our new house amidst the painting, unpacking and generally unruliness and were probably as nervous as I was! ;) A week later they came back to pick them up. The house was slightly more organized, I was slightly more disheveled.
Below are some of the images. They were happy (and probably pleasantly surprised) and so was I!!

I even got my very own LG bag and let me tell you, it is AWESOME!! It's so cute and comfy to carry around a big 'ol Macbook Pro and the rest of the junk I "need" when I am out and about. Go check out their website and like them on facebook. You know you need one of these. ;)
