Snow Day 2014 {Midlothian Children's Photographer}

So, I just found out the kids have ANOTHER snow day tomorrow. That makes this a 6 day weekend. Now, I love my kids and I really enjoy hanging out with them, but really?? I need to get some work done....and watch my "mom" shows that I can't watch in front of the kids (Don't let your mind go to the gutter, I'm talking about Dance Moms, Escaping the Prophet, and Long Island Medium!) So, anyway, I got the kids dressed in 'photo session' wear and we went out for a quick little session, one at a time, because I'm not THAT nuts! ;) So, here's what we got...

Just the Girls and Their Pony {Richmond Photographer, Midlothian Child Photographer}

This session is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!

I was SO excited when Courtney said she wanted to do a session at the barn with their pony!! And we happened to luck into one of those impossibly gorgeous fall Virginia evenings.....no more words necessary....

The 'J' Family {Midlothian Family Photographer, Richmond Family Photographer}

The Jackson family is one of my all time favorites from 2013! I met the boys when I was shooting preschool portraits at Salisbury Presbyterian Preschool. Then mom called me to do a family photo session and I was SO excited! They are not only gorgeous, but so much fun!! We shot the session at Independence Golf Club and finished at their amazing home. Thanks so much for hanging out with me Jackson's!! :)

I was beyond thrilled when Grace told me she wanted to go BIG in their home. We cam up with this symmetric canvas display.

And here is the final product up on their wall!! (Please excuse the ladder and measuring tape I failed to move out of the way.)

We also designed this layout for their stairwell. I don't have a final photo of that, but will update as soon as I do. :)
