Life Love Lens Wednesday: LIFE {Midlothian Child Photographer}

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

This Wednesday's post is a little different from past {Life Love Lens} Wednesday posts.
I won't lie, I kinda ran out of time to make this a learning type post. Sorry. :( Your consolation prize is to see some of my most difficult clients to photograph......my OWN kids! Yes, just like any mom, my kids sometimes DON'T want to have a camera in their faces. Shocking, right? LOL
Normally I don't push it, but on this particular day I HAD to get some shots for our Christmas cards. So, after some toot jokes, tickles (and bribes) {see this post}..... this is what we got.
I <3 them

Heeeyy!! ;)

Yes, he's my goof ball :)

Tickle tickle!!

Want to see more Life Love Lens Wednesdays? I will be back in a few weeks with some fun and useful info. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying some fun in the sun!!! :)
Happy Spring Break!

Life Love Lens Wednesday: Wall ART Love Part 2 {Midlothian Photographer}

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

First of all, thanks so much for sending your wall gallery images in!! I had so much fun looking through them! And now I need to change the walls in my house - haha! ;)

Well, as promised in the last LLLW post, below are some REAL wall galleries. Most of them are not as symmetrical and snazzy as a lot of the mock ups, but I honestly change what's on my walls ALL the time, and this is where it's at now....mostly haphazard and eclectic (kinda like me LOL!)
Enjoy!

The following shots are from my lovely clients and friends!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Rachel put this together with lots of family memories (and several KBSphoto prints!!)

 Sweet Nora has her own wall of fame. :)

 My photographer friend Karen Alquist sent these of her house! I love the use of the mirror! If you or anyone you know is in the Madison, CT area check her out - she is AMAZING!!!
 Symmetric AND eclectic - LOVE!!
I can't wait to have a stairwell like this some day. It's really like a family album. I love the use of all the same color frames, some with mats and some without, and both color and black and white prints.

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying my Life Love Lens Wednesdays. :)

Let me know what you would like to read about next!

Kerry

Blog Catch-Up: The Beautiful 'C' Family {Williamsburg Family Photographer, Midlothian Family Photographer}

Monday, March 18, 2013

Today I am going WAY back....to try to finish blogging sessions from last year (yikes!)

I loved getting to see the Crocker family the last two years for their holiday card photo session. The mister cracks me up - he tells me I have an hour, once a year, to get these pictures and then he's done LOL!! So, this is what we got in an hour! Enjoy!!

Life Love Lens Wednesdays: Wall ART Love {Richmond Family Photographer}

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

Well, hello there!
Welcome back to Life Love Lens Wednesday!
I hope you have enjoyed some of the previous LLLW posts:
are the most popular posts so far.
Please PIN IT and SHARE IT if you find them helpful. ;)

This weeks post is going to be Part 1 of Wall ART Love. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if some of my lovely clients who have wall galleries of KBSphoto pictures (or even just any great wall gallery or display) would email me a few pics of it - cell phone shots are fine! :) I want to include some real displays in Part 2, so get snapping and send them my way! ;)

At the end of most of my client galleries I will include some wall art display options. I don't fancy myself an interior designer, but I do LOVE to see personal artwork on walls. In fact, I have a REALLY hard time choosing anything for my walls that does not have some kind of personal connection. I will show some of the galleries in my own house next week and you will see exactly what I mean! ;)

When you spend the time, effort, and money to get professional photos done, I think you should show them off! I do, however, know that it is hard to "see" what they will look like and it can get overwhelming, so that is why I try to include some helpful options.

Check out the Wall Art below! Some of them show canvas (or standout) groupings, some show framed prints and some show the lovely shaped Organic Bloom Frames.

If you have any questions about these wall galleries, please leave a comment below or on my Facebook page.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the loveliness you can create! Be sure to check back next week for some "live" wall galleries.

xoxo,
Kerry
